我々はこれまでに通常食摂取時においてα-CDの摂取が盲腸内のSCFAs量を増加させ、腸内Lactobacillusの割合を増加させることを報告したが、α-CD摂取による健康増進効果について研究されていない。本研究は、α-CD摂取による健康増進作用を検討し、その結果、α-CDの摂取が腸内環境の改善を介して食事中のカルシウム吸収を増加させ骨強度を増加させること、便秘を改善すること、腸内免疫を増強すること、腐敗産物の産生量を減少することを明らかにした。 |

Recently, we have reported that dietary α-CD increased SCFAs by changing the composition of gut microbiota in normal diet-intaking mice. But it has not yet been clarified about the health-promoting effects of α-CD. In this study, we found that intake of α-CD gave typical prebiotic effect which include increases of bone status, improving constipation, decreases of putrefactive products and enhancement of gut immunity. |
