コエンザイムQ10（以下、CoQ10）は、ミトコンドリアの電子伝達の際にATPの生産に関わる重要な成分であり、生体中のエネルギー放出の改善や、抗酸化活性を有しフリーラジカル補足剤として作用することが知られている。しかし、CoQ10は脂溶性物質のため水への溶解度が極めて低く、光分解性があり、空気中においても安定性が低いため、食品や化粧品への製造にあたり取り扱いが難しく、さらに、摂取による吸収率が低いという問題がある。そこで我々は、CoQ10に「安定化」ならびに「吸収率の向上」を目的にCoQ10-γCD複合体を開発した。今回、CoQ10-γCD複合体の経口摂取による肌の保湿性向上・シワ（目尻）・キメの改善効果を検証したので報告する。 |

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is an electron carrier of the electron transfer system in the mitochondria of cells and also works as an antioxidant. CoQ10 has become very popular in recent days as an anti-aging ingredient in both food and cosmetic fields. It has already been reported that the bioavailability of CoQ10 could be enhanced by the complexation with γ-cyclodextrin（γCD）. We have also reported the improvement of antioxidant activity and stability of CoQ10 by the use of γCD. We here report some curative effects on human skin. |
