論文概要（和文）	血中の酸素濃度を適正に維持することは持久的な運動や疲労の回復を助け、健康のために継続的に運動するための重要な要素の一つと考えられている。このため、近年では医療における高気圧酸素療法の他、より一般化された所謂酸素ボックス（酸素カプセル）や、酸素水による血中酸素濃度の向上効果が注目されている。一方で、シクロデキストリン（CD）の中でも、特にα-CDは食後の血糖値上昇抑制や小型LDLの低減効果などの健康増進効果の他、アスリートの運動パフォーマンスに密接に関連するとされる腸内細菌叢による短鎖脂肪酸産生の活性化に寄与することで運動パフォーマンスの向上効果も期待されている食物繊維である5-7)。ここで我々は、α-CDのガス担持体としての作用を利用し、α-CDに酸素を担持させることで、α-CDと酸素を同時摂取できる高機能酸素水の開発を試みた。
論文概要（英文）	Recently, hyperbaric oxygen therapy for medical purpose, oxygen box and capsule for common user and oxygenated water have been paid attention as the way for maintain the blood oxygen level in high range. On the other hand, α-cyclodextrin (α-CD) is also good for increasing sports performance, since it contributes for production of short-chain fatty acids by intestinal bacteria involved in athlete’s performance . Here, we evaluated to prepare a new oxygenated water by using α-CD as the carrier of oxygen molecule. In the result, among three natural CDs and non-cyclic saccharides, only α-CD behaved as good carrier of oxygen gas.
